PROGRAMS

TEF offers an annual opportunity for people in the community to nominate a teacher or Thompson School District staff member they feel exemplifies excellence in education. Awards are given in multiple categories. 

Each summer, TEF staff and volunteers fill over 1,500 new backpacks with high quality school supplies to be ready for students and families who need a little financial help preparing for the new school year. These backpacks are available to any TSD student who needs them. 

Over 800 students in Thompson School District experience homelessness each year. TEF is committed to removing barriers to these students' attendance, education, and success by providing opportunities to those who may not otherwise have them. 

TEF's support for music and art programs in the district provides enhanced opportunities for students and inspires creativity, discovery, and innovation. Through donations, sponsors, and endowments, TEF enriches music and art programs for each school in our district.  

TEF sponsors curriculum-based field trips for all 2nd grade and 4th grade students each year, along with a variety of additional off-campus learning opportunities.
